I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!!!

Hi, everyone I am Jodi-Ann. As a Jamaican, from the age of seven years it was always my desire to become a Medical Doctor to help humanity. Having observed through my childish eyes the suffering of people, especially children, I realized that I wanted to be an instrument of change through medicine.

That dream was shattered in the fifth year of Medical School when the war broke out in the Ukraine. Subsequently, my studies ended abruptly with the loss of all my personal and medical belongings. One of the impacts of surviving the war was having to deal with the significant injuries I sustained. I was grateful for the safe return to Jamaica where I have fully recovered from those injuries. I remain fully dedicated to completing my medical studies.

I now have an opportunity to do so having been accepted at the University of Nîs located in Serbia (cheaper for my studies). Here I will be able to obtain my medical diploma and internship training in two years and six months. I write this appeal for help with great understanding that everyone has their own challenges. I do however seek your support via this RHH platform. Although not limited to, please find below some areas which the fund will cover for my two and a half years study time in Serbia starting October this year. I thank you for your generosity. (Tuitions and miscellaneous fees, airfare, residency permit, living and transportation costs, exam fees).
